REMANUFACTURED LAPTOPS FOR EDUCATION

Giving the next generation reliable, sustainable IT

Circular Computing offers a smart and sustainable IT strategy for your school, college or university to procure IT.

The smart way to procure IT

The way we address procurement, much like the rest of our company, is based within the circular economy; with one thing in mind: sustainability, without compromising quality or cost.

With our unique remanufacturing process, we offer enterprise-grade, leading brand laptops for your educational organisation. When you want to upgrade or change to newer machines, we can take back the previous products to begin the remanufacturing process all over again.

Get more for your budget

With education budgets still tight, procurement can be a difficult task for many schools, colleges and universities.

Our remanufactured carbon-neutral laptops, from HP, Dell and Lenovo, are not only good for the environment, but they also cost up to 40% less compared to buying new too.

There is no compromise on quality either. Our products all go through our BSI Kitemark certified remanufacturing process, meaning every laptop has a complete inside-and-out refresh - guaranteeing consistent premium quality with every laptop.

Education procurement frameworks

Our laptops are available from your reseller and through most education frameworks, including CPC, KCS, CCS, Everything ICT and more.

This enables schools, multi-academy trusts and local authorities to purchase technology directly to save time and help budgets go further.

CASE STUDY

Chichester High School

With the purchase of 114 remanufactured laptops, this forward-thinking school replaced their entire IT suite with Circular Computing laptops that included a full 3-year warranty at a fraction of the price of buying new.

Jim Turner, the Network Manager at Chichester High School, said "the Circular Computing product range felt exactly as new and was exceptional compared to the usual stuff you associate with second hand. This product felt more like brand new, so much so that I recommended it up to the TKAT Multi-Academy Trust.”

On top of the financial savings, there were significant sustainability benefits from their decision to buy Circular Computing laptops for education:

We will ensure a replacement is sent out the next working day; working from home or in the office, we’ll get them up and running again with minimal downtime.

Your school can become part of the sustainability story

Our fully circular business model means at the end of their life, laptops are taken back, remanufactured again and then re-sold to another user. Instead of being thrown away after three years, as is traditionally the case, their life can be extended by ’re-looping’ them through the remanufacturing process.

Every part that can be reused is checked, tested and every laptop is given a cosmetic refresh – repainted and polished, both inside and out. When remanufacturing a laptop into a new one, 99% of the materials are reused, with nothing thrown away. The final 1% of components that are removed are recycled for the materials to be used again.

Certified Carbon Neutral Plus laptops

Our laptops are certified Carbon Neutral Plus, because for every computer we sell, we plant five trees – helping to create sustainable communities and reduce climate change. It is a story that can really bring people together, galvanising interest and support across educational institutions, with the remanufactured laptops helping to improve our understanding of sustainability and what it means to be green.

Buying more sustainable IT is one way to create a greener educational environment.
