Circular Computing™ forges ahead with new CEO

New CEO - Scott Mac Meekin

A2C Services announced today that Scott Mac Meekin is to join the company as CEO to drive the company’s growth through Circular Computing™ as the world leader of Sustainable IT.

“I am honoured to have been appointed as CEO and it is a privilege to be part of an organization that delivers such a radical and dynamic approach to IT asset remarketing. My experience of providing capital and management expertise to grow companies within the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) sector is a perfect match” said Scott. “The organisation is making a positive impact in the world and I am looking forward to facing the challenges presented by being a leader and innovator in growing the sustainable IT market segment. The company has had the conviction, values and energy to invest heavily in its remanufacturing facility and I want to be part of the journey to growth and success.”

Scott Mac Meekin will succeed founder and CEO of the company, Rod Neale, who is going to concentrate on growing revenues and developing the vision and future plans for the organisation and shareholders.

“Scott is an ideal match for the company and brings a huge amount of experience and a successful track record of growth. I am delighted that we will be working together.” said Rod. “Creating this company from the ground up over 25 years ago, I have a tremendous amount of industry knowledge as has Scott. Working together we will have an increased focus on strategic management and ambitious growth plans”

The announcement of Scott Mac Meekin as the new CEO is expected to be the first in a long list of new appointments to the company as it pivots from being one of the most successful IT asset remarketing companies in the world to being the world’s first large-scale Secondary Equipment Manufacturer (SEM) focused on remanufacturing laptops. The world is at a tipping point and demands a more sustainable future – and carbon neutral, remanufactured laptops is a rapidly growing market segment.

Today the company has over 250 staff dedicated to delivering remanufactured laptops through a network of distribution and reseller channels. It has built capacity of up to 10,000 units per month with a target of 50,000 within the next 3 years.
